KaleMart24 announces Toronto debut

Montreal-based KaleMart24 is continuing its incredible debut run, with several new stores, including a market debut in Toronto, and ambitious plans for 2026.

The “where wellness meets convenience” retail concept has gone from strength to strength since opening its first much-anticipated location in Montreal in spring 2024. Today, KaleMart24 operates 10 locations—eight in Quebec and two in Ontario—and expansion continues.Think Retail is thrilled to have worked with visionary founder and entrepreneur Oussama (Sam) Saoudi, who also founded Toro Beverages, since the retail concept’s inception.

And, we are excited to share that KaleMart24 is to open in Toronto’s downtown core in June 2026 in an 1,800-sq.-ft. corner location at 601-603 Yonge St. Also in June, KaleMart24 will open its first mall location at the Montreal Eaton Centre—an 850 sq.-ft.-space on the Metro level facing the new REM entrance.

But that’s not all! The KaleMart24 team is aggressively expanding and seeking bustling locations in Montreal and Toronto, with plans to open at least 15 stores next year. The focus is on high-traffic street-front properties, open-air plaza and office towers. Ideal spaces are 850 to 1,500 sq. ft. Dubbed “the Whole Foods of convenience stores,” KaleMart24 is reinventing the channel, with a commitment to better-for-you products and practices that keep sustainability at its core. Saoudi’s depanneurs are innovative on every level—from the fresh-thinking product mix to the modern, bright design and tech-forward operations at every level, including its loyalty program, as well as self-checkout, contactless and mobile payments options.

The market concept is well targeted at today’s busy consumer, who aims to eat and live thoughtfully by supporting brands that fit with their ethos and health goals.

We look forward to working with the leaders at KaleMart24 to chart its next phase of incredible growth. For information, contact the Think Retail team.
