March 15, 2024Get ready kids—Panco the popular international children’s clothing chain, is coming to Canada and they have signed a deal to open their first store at Willowbrook Shopping Centre in Langley, B.C.
This is a fashion win for style-savvy kids and their parents, who are looking for fun, accessible, and unique high-quality clothing.
Just in time for back-to-school shopping, the 2,005-sq.-ft. store is slated to open its doors in this summer.
Panco will be right at home along other top-notch brands in this vibrant, west coast, lifestyle-oriented experience and retail centre in Metro Vancouver, one of the fastest growing regions in B.C.’s Lower Mainland.
Willowbrook offers the perfect mix of established marquee brands and an interesting selection of first-to-market retailers, which make the centre a destination shopping experience.
Panco is a strong brand with a proven track record and deep experience with new market entries.
Established in 1978 as a wholesaler in Turkey, Panco Children’s Clothing opened its first retail location in Istanbul in 1984. Since then, it has expanded to 37 countries in the Middle East, Europe and beyond, operating more than 200 stores.
Entrepreneur and Canadian partner Mehmet Varol is the architect behind bringing the concept to North America. The plan is to introduce the brand in key shopping destinations across Canada in the next five years.
Think Retail is thrilled to work with Mehmet Varol and the Panco team on its growth plans—ideal spaces are 1,500 to 2,000 sq. ft., preferable in super regional malls.
Panco is a dream tenant, with a stellar marketing strategy and a fun, fashion-forward vibe. Its collections target newborns up to age 14: From tanks and t-shirts to shorts, cold weather gear, sleepwear and a wide-range of accessories, Panco stores appeal to families looking for well-designed comfortable clothing that’s made to last. In other markets, Panco is dressing second and even third generations, whose families grew up with the 35-year-old brand and are now buying it for their children.
